One Foot on Campus is hosted by Delvin Pikes, a campus missionary with Every Nation Campus (ENC) for almost two decades. Delvin has ministered to students on dozens of campuses after being forever changed when he heard and believed the good news of Jesus Christ as a sophomore college athlete.
As a student and with the help of others, he uniquely experienced the start of a new campus ministry after several of his teammates came to know the Lord over a couple of year time span, thus forming a growing community at his alma mater Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). By his senior season, he knew God had called him to ministry and was invited by his head coach to serve as a co-chaplain alongside a handful of his transformed teammates.
After graduation, Delvin spent twelve years serving primarily at MTSU and a few other local area high school and college campuses. In May 2015 he began serving full-time as the ENC Nashville Campus Director for all of the campuses in Nashville alongside a team of staff and volunteers. From 2015 until 2019 he also served as Central Region Director for Every Nation Campus.
Delvin is husband to his lovely Texan bride Ginessa and they have six children. He has earned degrees of a Bachelor’s of Science in General Science from MTSU, a Master’s of Arts in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary with an emphasis on Preaching and Leading. His researched doctoral dissertation Every Campus: Best Practices for Starting New Campus Ministries was published in 2020.
